A WORD from TREASURER BRAD JOHNSTON : “St. Matthew’s is currently experiencing cash flow difficulties and may need to dip into reserves to pay the bills.  During the summer offerings drop off as members are focused on summer things; however our financial obligations do not.  Please consider this when making your offerings. [Folks can ALWAYS contribute online at the St. Matthew’s Website: www.stmatthewschurch.org]

IN THE ABSENCE of a Sexton, folks are signing up (in the Parish Hall) to volunteer to come in each day & pick up & clean. If you’d like to volunteer to help, just stop by & sign up. And ALL are invited Saturdays at 4 (usually) to help clean for The Sunday morning celebration.

Interested in Education for Ministry (EFM)? Many at St. Matthew’s have taken part in this 4 year Program of Biblical & theological education. If interested, or you’d like to know more, contact Tom & Bonnie Marsh at 458-0223.

COMING EVENTS: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st. Feast of St. Matthew’s Celebration with Harvest Dinner & Announcement of Endowment Awards.
